Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in South Florida, Lorne brings a tireless work ethic and New York tenacity to every case he handles. During his more than twenty-year career, he has recovered over $30 million in damages for his clients and secured multi-million-dollar verdicts against some of the largest corporations in America — companies whose negligence put ordinary Floridians in harm's way.
Lorne graduated from Florida Atlantic University magna cum laude with high honors in 1999 and earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2002. During his tenure at FSU Law, Lorne interned with the Public Defender's Office in Palm Beach County, where he quickly earned a reputation as a charismatic, naturally gifted trial attorney — winning at trial and in motion practice from his very first cases.
In addition to all Florida State Courts, Lorne is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has argued before numerous administrative bodies and tribunals throughout the country.
