What is Florida's statute of limitations for personal injury?
Effective March 24, 2023, Florida's statute of limitations for most negligence claims was shortened from four years to two years from the date of injury under Fla. Stat. §95.11. Wrongful death is two years from the date of death. Missing these deadlines almost always means permanent loss of your claim — contact an attorney immediately.
