We are establishing this scholarship to support a student who refuses to settle for mediocrity and is passionate about making a difference in the legal field—regardless of which Florida university they attend.

How Recipients Are Selected
Every complete application that meets the eligibility requirements is reviewed by the Kaiser Romanello scholarship committee. We evaluate each essay on:
- Insight and originality — the depth and thoughtfulness of your response to the prompt.
- Writing quality — clarity, organization, grammar, and persuasiveness.
- Commitment to justice — how convincingly you connect the topic to your own goals and values.
The minimum 3.0 GPA is a threshold requirement, not a scoring factor—a compelling essay carries more weight than a perfect transcript. All decisions of the scholarship committee are final.
